Born in Benton Harbor, Michigan currently living in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I grew up listening to my mother’s funk, r&b, and jazz records. I started out playing the drums at age 10 and later learned how to create beats. When hip hop & Techno house music became popular I was listening to DJ Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince, Run DMC, Soul Sonic Force & my favorite group Kraftwerk when I developed my style of making beats, blending records, and scratching. I have many influences in my musical journey like Parliment/Funkadelic,Herbie Hancock, Juan Atkins, Grandmaster Flash, Jam Master Jay, Dj Mr.Mixx(2 Live Crew), Dj Magic Mike, Dj Premier, J Dilla, Pete Rock, Mannie Fresh & Roger Troutman. I started Djing in talent shows, 30 & over parties, house parties, and school functions dating back at age 16. I was getting into local night clubs before I was 21 because of my Dj skills. I’ve Djayed with a number of different Djs over the years. I got known for my mixtapes around my neighborhood, mixing, scratching, body tricks, and making beats. I’ve been involved in music for well over 20 years.
I was blessed to have done production & worked with local Michigan artists & Djs such as: Reality Check, Dj Shannon Dogg, Dj Stacey Lloyd, Dj Playhouse, Dj Cutt Nice, Dj1OZ(Off The Scales Productions), Self Made Records & super-producer Honorable C.N.O.T.E, Matt Kyle(Beware Recordings), Ice Box, Mac Mizzemg, Split 2nd, Breeze(The Streetz), Michael Styles(Benji Boyz), Chi Boy, Larry Boyz, Mind Changer, Super YesD, Jinx(The Trouble Maker), Elis B., Ed Genesis, and many others artists from Michigan & the Midwest.
